TradeBase is built on a privacy-first, local architecture. When you import CSV files or manually log trades, all data is processed and stored within your browser's local storage. We do not transmit your trading history, positions, or P&L data to any external servers — it lives entirely on your device.

This architecture means even our own engineering team cannot see your trading data. It belongs exclusively to you.

If you create an account, we store only the minimum required for authentication and account management:

• Your email address (for login and account recovery).
• An encrypted hash of your password — we never store it in plain text.
• Your subscription tier (Free or Founders Edition).
• Account creation date and last login timestamp.

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, financial details, or any trading-specific data unless you explicitly send it to us via our contact form.

We use a minimal set of third-party services, all chosen for their privacy credentials:

• Supabase — for secure authentication and account storage only. No trading data is stored there.
• Google Fonts — for typography. Standard CDN request with no personal data.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, ad networks, behavioral tracking SDKs, or any other invasive analytics tools.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or permanently delete your account data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at TradeBaseSupport@gmail.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

Since your trading data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage via the Settings panel in the app.

TradeBase is a journaling and analytics tool designed strictly for educational and self-tracking purposes. None of the metrics, Base Scores™, statistics, charts, or insights provided by the platform constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, or guarantees of future trading performance.

Trading financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance tracked in TradeBase does not guarantee future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for 100% accuracy in all calculations — including Profit Factor, Win Rate, Equity Curves, Drawdown metrics, and the Base Score™ — you are solely responsible for verifying your trading data against your official broker statements.

• We are not liable for data discrepancies between TradeBase and your broker.
• Always cross-reference your P&L with official broker statements before tax filing.
• We reserve the right to update, modify, or deprecate features with reasonable notice.

Because TradeBase is a local-first application, clearing your browser cache or deleting browser data will permanently erase your locally stored trading history. This action cannot be reversed by our team.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our proprietary scoring algorithms.
• Abuse the platform's infrastructure, including automated scraping or DDoS attempts.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute TradeBase services.
• Violate applicable laws or regulations in their jurisdiction.

Upon termination, your account authentication data will be deleted. Your locally stored trading data is unaffected as it resides on your device only.

All authentication is handled via Supabase, an open-source backend provider. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — not even our team can see your password. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS 1.3.

Your trades, P&L figures, and journal entries are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device. We have architected the system this way intentionally — maximum privacy by design.

In the unlikely event of a security breach affecting account data (email addresses or subscription status), we will notify affected users within 72 hours via the registered email address, in compliance with GDPR Article 33.

TradeBase uses only strictly necessary cookies and browser storage required to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any cookies from ad networks.

• Session token — keeps you authenticated during your session.
• Preferences — stores UI preferences like dark/light mode.
• Trading data — stored in localStorage, not cookies; never transmitted externally.

You can clear all cookies and localStorage at any time via your browser settings. Note that doing so will log you out and remove any locally stored trading history.
